Projektbeschreibung

Nach dem Vorbild menschlicher Greif- und Manipulationsfähigkeiten werden wir anthropomorphe, weiche Roboterhände bauen, die auch als Sensor fungieren, um robuste Interaktionen mit der Umgebung zu ermöglichen. Da sie aus weichen Materialien bestehen, passt sich ihre Morphologie an die Umgebung an, was die Robustheit und Sicherheit der Mensch-Roboter-Interaktion erhöht.

Unsere Hände werden ein hohes Maß an Geschicklichkeit aufweisen. Zu diesem Zweck werden wir eine neue Art von beweglichen Daumen konstruieren, der auf neuartigen pneumatischen Aktuatoren basiert und auch die Abduktion der Finger ermöglicht. Diese Fortschritte werden es unseren Händen ermöglichen, eine Vielzahl von Manipulationsaufgaben auszuführen. Um die Interaktionen mit dem Objekt und der Umgebung zu beobachten und darauf zu reagieren, werden wir die Hände mit Sensoren ausstatten. Die inhärente Nachgiebigkeit verhindert den Einsatz herkömmlicher Sensortechnologien. Wir werden daher neue Sensortechnologien entwickeln, um hochgradig nachgiebige Aktoren mit vielen Freiheitsgraden zu sensorisieren. Dazu gehören textilbasierte Sensoren zur Erfassung taktiler Informationen, weiche Dehnungssensoren für die Propriozeption und akustische Sensoren zur Erkennung von Kontaktereignissen.

Um die Robustheit von Soft Hands weiter zu erhöhen, werden wir Kontrollmethoden entwickeln, die Wahrnehmungs-, Modell- und Bewegungsunsicherheiten durch haptisches Feedback reduzieren. Wir werden auch Steuerungsstrategien entwickeln, die aktiv haptische Informationen aus der Umgebung extrahieren, indem wir beispielsweise einen Finger über eine Oberfläche gleiten lassen, um deren Reibungseigenschaften zu bestimmen.
